The presentation will start promptly at 6:00 pm, please arrive early to allow for registration prior to the start.
CTBUH Canada | Presentation - Vacancy to Vibrancy, Office Space Conversions
How repositioning vacant office to thriving residential has taken off despite the tough residential market and becoming the darling of government policy. The session will explore a unique approach to reviewing real estate for conversions, the scale of the work being undertaken and how dozens of City, State/Provincial and Federal governments are changing decades old policy to incentivize the creation of housing in our downtown cores.

The cost of the event is $40 for CTBUH members and $50 for non-members and includes a certificate of completion, and refreshments (food + beverages) at the networking event after the presentation.

Engaged in original research, he has led the development of a tool for rapid assessment of existing office building stock for ESG performance. Steven was recognized by Business Insider as one of the Top 100 People Transforming Business in 2022, and his work and leadership have been featured in PBS, BBC News, CNBC, Daily Mail UK, Canadian Press, The Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, RTE, and Architectural Record.
He is an active member of several professional organizations including the OAA, ULI, and CoreNet Global.
