Join us for an in-person, one day event to learn about the new research, innovations and developments in the ornamental industry of Hawaii.
About this Event

Through a series of short presentations extension agents and specialists, Joanna Bloese, Russell Galanti, Hannah Lutgen, and James Keach, along with special guest speaker Joanne Lichty will give updates on myrtaceae import replacement, anthurium breeding program, thrips resistance management practices, sunflower variety trial, protea update, burrowing nematode management, and cymbidium trial updates among other topics relevant to the ornamental industry of Hawaii.

This event is hosted and funded in part by College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Hawaii Floriculture and Nursery Association, Nutrien Ag Solutions and Hawaii Department of Agriculture: Specialty Crop Block Grant.
