About this Event

Please join CSU Pueblo President Valdez and campus leadership to celebrate the completion of phase one of the Technology Building at Colorado State University Pueblo! This exciting ribbon-cutting event marks a significant milestone in the university's journey toward enhanced academic excellence and experiential learning opportunities. The ceremony will feature brief remarks by campus leadership and representatives from HCM and Nunn Construction, who played pivotal roles in bringing this project to life. We also sincerely thank Canter & Associates and the CSU Pueblo Facilities team for their invaluable contributions.

Thanks to the visionary support of Governor Jared Polis and the enactment of State Bill 21-205, $17.1 million was allocated in 2021 for the first phase of the Technology Building renovation. This transformative project ensures all students can access cutting-edge instructional spaces, fostering experiential learning opportunities across disciplines, particularly in STEM and Education. Originally constructed in 1979, this upgrade represents a significant step forward, modernizing facilities while aligning with Vision 2028’s strategic goal of strengthening partnerships with industry, community colleges, and K-12 schools. Join us to commemorate this milestone and embark on a new era of academic excellence and collaboration.
