Day 1 - Friday, May 1
🕑: 08:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Workshop 1 - Core Pelvic Health Skills for Generalists
Info: The Core Pelvic Health Skills Workshop equips physicians, nurses, pelvic health physiotherapists, and allied health professionals with practical, evidence-based skills to assess and manage stress urinary incontinence (SUI), pelvic organ prolapse (POP), and genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM).
🕑: 08:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Workshop 2 - CSPM Physiotherapy Forum
Info: Stations & Speakers:
1. Diastasis recti abdominis
Sabine Vesting, PT, PhD
Nicole Beamish, PT, PhD
2. Pelvic floor disorders among female athletes
Marie-Ève Bérubé, PT, PhD
Linda McLean, PhD
Adrienne Sim, PT, MPT, PhD Student
3. Pelvic health physiotherapy after interventions for gynaecologic cancer
Stéphanie Bernard, PT, PhD
🕑: 08:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Workshop 3 - Your Ideas and Innovations - Protecting Intellectual Property
Info: The workshop will provide guidance to healthcare professionals about the process of evaluating and protecting personal innovations to ensure that ownership of intellectual property is maintained. Participants would include those with potential to innovate and those who may already have an innovation they wish to protect. The workshop will provide information that could form the foundation of an innovation presentation for local academic departments.
🕑: 12:00 PM - 03:00 PM
Workshop 4 - Implementation of a Low Fidelity Simulation Curriculum for Vagina
Info: Increasingly, Obstetrics and Gynecology (ObGyn) residency programs rely on urogynecologists to teach vaginal surgery during mandatory rotations. While this can be achieved through procedural repetition in the operating room, residents compete with other learners, such as urogynecology fellows, for case volume, and may not achieve the necessary skills to become competent vaginal surgeons at graduation.
🕑: 12:00 PM - 03:00 PM
Workshop 5 - Caring for the Neovagina: Multidisciplinary Management
Info: Caring for the Neovagina: Multidisciplinary Management of Post-Vaginoplasty Concerns in Pelvic Health Practice: This workshop translates complex surgical and postoperative concepts into practical pelvic health care strategies. Drawing on real-world experience from a specialized gender affirming care center, the faculty will guide participants through interactive case discussions, visual anatomy review, hands-on dilation and examination strategies, and small-group problem solving.
🕑: 03:30 PM - 05:30 PM
Workshop 6 (Non-CME): Sacral Neuromodulation for Urogynecologists
Info: Sacral Neuromodulation for Urogynecologists: A Treatment Option for OAB, NOUR and FI.
This is a Sponsored Non-CME Workshop.
This interactive session combines didactic learning with hands‑on PNE practice to:
- Debunk myths about SNM complexity and candidacy in OAB, NOUR, and FI.
- Review evidence: indications, outcomes, and cost‑effectiveness7.
- Demonstrate PNE setup and lead placement using anatomical models.
- Optimize referrals: build multidisciplinary pathways and improve referral quality
🕑: 06:30 PM - 08:30 PM
CSPM Pub Night — ByWard Market
Day 2 - Saturday, May 2
🕑: 08:15 AM - 09:15 AM
Keynote: Adam Garber, MD - SimTrek: A New Fontier
Info: Learning Objectives:
• Apply current evidence to the diagnostic workup and management of common female pelvic floor conditions.
• Describe emerging conceptual frameworks in pelvic floor health and their clinical implications.
• Select evidence-based, multidisciplinary treatment strategies appropriate to individual patient presentations.
🕑: 09:30 AM - 10:30 AM
All About Metoidioplasty: The Who, What, Where, When, and Why of Masculinizing
🕑: 01:00 PM - 02:00 PM
Implications of Pelvic Floor Loading in PFD
🕑: 03:30 PM - 04:30 PM
Panel: Building Healthcare to Meet the Needs of Newcomers to Canada
Day 3 - Sunday, May 3
🕑: 09:30 AM - 10:30 AM
AI Won’t Replace Urogynecologists — But It Will Change How You Practice
Info: Mark Walker, MD
🕑: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Info: May Sanaee, MD, MSc.
Aisling Clancy, MD, MSc.
Workshop 7 - Teaching Motor Skills to Learners, From Simulation Development
Info: Teaching Motor Skills to Learners, From Simulation Development to the Clinical Setting: This workshop will focus on effective strategies for teaching hands-on procedural skills. Participants will discover evidence-based approaches to teaching motor skills to learners both through simulation and in the clinical setting. This workshop will also explore development and design of low-cost simulations augmented with silicone materials and 3D printing techniques.
🕑: 02:30 PM - 05:30 PM
Workshop 8 - Ultrasound Imaging of the Structure and Function
Info: Ultrasound Imaging of the Structure and Function of the Female Pelvic Floor Muscles: This workshop aims to provide detailed overview of the application of ultrasound imaging to assessment of morphology and function of the female pelvic floor. Emphasis will be placed on functional evaluation of the pelvic floor to guide conservative management of pelvic floor dysfunction including the application of ultrasound imaging as a feedback tool for rehabilitation. The session will include live demonstration of methods and opportunity for hands-on practice using live models. The presenters will discuss anatomy and imaging techniques for female and male anatomy and the level of evidence for its utilisation in clinical care.
