About this Event
To enroll in the Construction Safety Officer (CSO) course and pursue certification, individuals must be at least 16 years of age and physically capable of performing the required first aid tasks. Completion of the Trade Safety Coordinator (TSC) course is a mandatory prerequisite.
Certification Criteria
Certification is granted upon full attendance and active participation in the course. Participants must demonstrate proficiency in practical skills and score a minimum of 75% on both assignments and the final exam.
Course Recognition
This course is officially recognized by the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC (ASTTBC) as part of the educational requirement for CSO designation in British Columbia. Additionally, it provides 5 credits (2.5 credits per week) towards the BCCSP professional development or application.
