Starting with a Friday night banquet, followed by a Saturday morning HOPE walk, we aim to restore HOPE when it seems all hope is lost.
Our Cancer Foundation program is designed to provide support for those who are currently undergoing cancer treatment, as well as for cancer survivors. The program not only aims to spread awareness about cancer, but also provides financial assistance to people undergoing cancer treatment. A portion of all proceeds collected will be used to support cancer patients and survivors.
On Friday night, we will host a banquet with a panel discussion that aims to raise awareness about the challenges faced by cancer patients and their families. During the discussion, we will talk about the importance of support and how it can affect a patient's well-being. We will also shed light on insurance policies, what they cover and what they do not, as well as the different programs that are available to assist cancer patients.
On Saturday morning, we will gather by the benches on the Sallie Mood side of the park near the sidewalk. Registration will start at 7:15 am. We will stretch and warm up at 7:45 am, and the HOPE Walk will begin promptly at 8 am.
