About this Event
Wondering where to find the future opportunities you need to develop your professional practice and build your CV? In this session, we'll work together to share the work of sourcing creative opportunities. Together we will crowdsource and create a lasting resource full of potential employers, clients, collaborators, jobs, volunteering, residencies, projects, funding and support. The resource will remain after the session and you'll have the opportunity to copy and curate a version for your own opportunities search.
This session will be facilitated by Ruth Annett, UAL Careers and Employability.
Note: While it is not essential, we recommend attending this session with a device that connects to the internet. This will allow you to use and navigate Padlet.
This session is part of Creating Careers, a series of workshops which aim to support you as you build professional experience during your studies. Whether you are thinking about placements, internships, part-time work or developing a side hustle these sessions aim to help you to understand your skills, share your experience and connect with the opportunities that matter to you. These sessions are open to all but will be of most relevance to Stage 1 and 2 students, and anyone exploring work experience and job-hunting for the first time.
