Calling all Junior Chefs! CSI Kitchen Academy is a Montessori-inspired cooking academy for kids’ ages 9 to 12 years of age. We are focused on providing a safe, inspiring, and empowering space for children to identify, develop, and define their senses and kitchen skills. Through joy, mindfulness, and learning we are creating a positive learning environment that includes kitchen safety, knife skills, proper food handling, food preparation, etiquette manners, table settings, food presentation and of course, math and fun. Join us this week for Retro Desserts featuring: Black Forest Cake, Peach and Blackberry Pavlovas, Strawberry Shortcake, Baked Alaska, Cherry Gelatin Supreme and Traditional Apple Strudel. Come join us for a great experience cooking from scratch to consumption!
CSI SUMMER CAMP COVID-SAFETY PLAN NOTES
• Masks: Per the current recommendations of South Central District Health, we are requiring students, parents, and instructors to wear masks at all summer camps. Should those restrictions change between now and the summer, we will let you know, but please be prepared for masks at this point
• Distancing: We will keep students distanced three feet apart as much as we can, but that will not be possible at all times during all camps. Please be aware there will be times when the students are shoulder to shoulder.
