Witness “Mel Rio and the Singing Bowl Sound Bath Studio, LLC.” perform an intimate Crystal Reiki and Energy Healing small group session combined with a chakra balancing Sound Bath Meditation at the Land of Buddha, in the East Village of Manhattan, New York City.

What is a Sound Bath Meditation?

A Sound Bath is a beautiful meditative concert-like experience where one would witness a certified Sound Healing Practitioner play harmonious notes and sounds created by using various musical instruments like Tibetan/Himalayan Singing Bowls, Crystal Singing Bowls, Gongs, Chimes, Harps, Drums and other resonant instruments. While the participant is encouraged to sit or lay down in a comfortable position, a bath of soothing sound waves and healing frequencies will be sent washing over the body, encouraging deep relaxation and the release of any stored tension, stress and anxiety, while stimulating the brain into a meditative state. The 7 Main Chakra Singing Bowls will each be played near the body and over the associated chakras, for targeted chakra balancing, activation and clearing.

What is Reiki? What is Crystal Reiki?

Reiki is a hands-on natural healing modality where a certified Reiki Practitioner acts as a conduit between the client and the source of the universal life force energy. The energy flows through the practitioner’s hands to the client. A Reiki treatment feels like a wonderful glowing calming radiance, flowing through and around the body. Before every session, Mel Rio channels Reiki into the room, the singing bowls and the healing crystals in order to clear and charge the energy and to prepare a safe and “proper healing environment" for the session. Healing Crystals (semi-precious gemstones) are programmed and charged with Reiki in order to work on the body to balance and provide color therapy to each of the chakras, while offering mental, emotional and physical support during the session. A personalized Chakra Crystal Energy Healing & Balancing Body Layout will be created for each client during the session, helping to bring the body and its energy centers back to balance and harmony.

Most leave Crystal Reiki & Energy Healing Balancing Sound Bath Meditation session feeling calmer and relaxed, with any stress, tension or anxiety felt before the session greatly reduced. The combination of Reiki and Sound Healing is a powerful method used to attune the mind, body and spirit to higher frequencies and open up the energy channels (chakras and meridians) to flow freely by removing blockages in the body that are caused by stress, anxiety and other emotional and environmental trauma.

This is a full 90-minute intensive healing Crystal Reiki Sound Bath session. 30 minutes extra have been added to allow time for a proper introduction and discussion before and after the session.

Not only is every participant receiving sound therapy, each will receive their very own healing crystal body layout. So, it's like receiving 2 treatments in one (Sound Therapy + Crystal Reiki = "Crystal Reiki Sound Bath" = A Meditative Chakra Balancing Experience). By the end of the session, the 7 main energy centers of the body (chakras) will be open and balanced, improving the flow of energy around the body which promotes relaxation, relieves pain, and speeds up healing.

Each group session will max out at 6 people so that more personal attention can be given to each attendee. Group sessions will remain small to ensure a safe space for healing. This is not a typical sound bath experience or sound meditation. This experience is only for those serious about starting their own individual healing journeys and are ok with being totally immersed in loud sounds and powerful vibrations made from Singing Bowls and the Gong.

No meditation experience is required. All you have to do during the session is to try to be still, quiet and relaxed while receiving the healing sounds from Tibetan Singing Bowls when played over and around the body. You will be encouraged to either sit or lay down on the floor. Chairs are available for those who cannot sit or lay down on the floor. (Please message directly and advise before the session if a chair will be needed). Yoga Mats, Rugs, Pillows, Towels, Eye Coverings and Blankets will be provided.

No Walk-Ins. No exceptions. The room has to be prepared for the session in advance at least hour before the start of the session. Online Registration is the only Guaranteed Reservation.

To avoid the Eventbrite Fee, you can reserve your spot either by sending payment “in advance” directly to "Mel Rio & The Singing Bowl Sound Bath Studio" by Zelle or you can pay in person at the door at the "Land of Buddha" no later than 24 hours in advance to hold your spot for the group session. (Message directly to confirm. Based on Availability). Direct payment must include ticket price ($60.00) + 8.8% NYC sales tax ($5.28). Which is a total of $65.28 direct payment is required to hold the reservation.

Cancellations or Refund Requests must be received 7 days before event date. Requests to Reschedule and/or Transfer Tickets to another event must be received 48 hours in advance in order for a transfer request to be granted. Eventbrite fees are nonrefundable. No Shows Attendee tickets will not be granted a refund or transfer request.

Please keep/bring minimal personal belongings. Space is extremely limited. Management will not be responsible for any personal belongings left behind, lost or stolen.

All group sessions are video recorded by the Management for safety and insurance purposes. By attending you agree to be video recorded. Management may use copies of the video recordings at their own discretion.
