Crystal Rae: From the Cocoon

Tied has been accepted into the United Solo Festival in NYC this fall! Come celebrate!

From the Cocoon with Crystal Rae will be a lo-fi, living room, unpolished evening of little songs, monologues, poems, and a bit of puppetry straight from Crystal Rae's journals. She hadn't meant to perform anything this year and wouldn't have if the unthinkable hadn't happened. The Black Seed Grant was used by one of the writers for their own production company instead of Tied, (The play that secured the grant in the first place. )

So, instead of rolling over and dying Crystal Rae has decided to sing. Which is very much like her. Come celebrate the fact that Tied keeps inching its way through the world bit by bit despite the setbacks. Donations are welcomed as Jason Carmicahel (Daniel) and Crystal Rae (playwright) make their way to 42nd street!

The evenings performance will also be graced by the massive talents of Werner Richmond and Regina Hearne!
