We'll meet at the Moat Mountain Mineral Site parking lot in Conway, NH. at 9:45AM, Sunday, June 30th (Westside Rd. > Passaconaway Rd. > High St.). The hike to the mineral site is an easy 0.9 miles and will take a leisurely 25 - 30 minutes to get to the digging site. We'll dig for crystals for a couple hours and walk back together.
What you'll need:
Comfy waterproof hiking boots
Water & snacks
Garden gloves and extra layers / rain gear
Knee pads or rain pants
Garden trowel and a mason hammer or Paleo pick (Home Depot or Lowes)
