Crypto Masterclass Mondays Summer Session

About this Masterclass:

Join Brick by Brick and Vox Pluma to learn and explore how crypto and creativity can intersect. We want to share best practices and enable you to use new technologies for your art and business. Come explore the evolving edge of this exciting field and learn together with a community of experts. All sessions will start at 6pm and end between 7:30-8pm. Space is limited! Don't wait to sign up.

Here is the course outline for each session:

July 4 - Intro to blockchain and metamask

July 11- Smart contracts and defi

July 18 -Minting and marketing NFTs

July 25- Community DAOs

The course will be hybrid, both in person and online: sessions will be held in person at the Brick by Brick space and a link will be shared by email with all attendees. Please let us know if you will be attending in person so that we can make sure we have enough food.

*The sessions will be in English, but the instructors are bilingual and can answer your questions in French.

**Sessions will build on each other so it is ideal for you to attend all. However, we will accommodate people who can attend only one or a few sessions. Note that you will need to sign up for each sessions in the checkout.

Jotor4 is a lawyer with a background in intellectual property and accessibility legislation. Founder of VoxPluma crypto collective, Jotor4 enjoys empowering and learning with others to enable a more innovative and equitable future.

Socretrex is an intersectional creative community organizer who builds networks and projects through art and technology. With over 15 years of experience in the youth development sector, they have built several successful projects with evolving technologies such as online communities, wikis, NFTs and mapping projects.

What is provided?

The course is offered for free and via an Earn to Learn model - attending each class will earn you crypto assets to experiment with. Refreshments and food, transit subsidies, and crypto assets for learning with are all provided to participants.

What you'll need to bring?

Please bring an internet enabled device such as a smartphone, tablet or laptop and a physical notebook and pen / pencil.
