Tournament Schedule
The tournament will be a 2-day, 5 game Swiss style, resurrection tournament. First games will be determined by random matchup. The remaining games will be determined based on tournament points.
For the first round only, we will do our best to pair players off against members that are outside of their home club. The tournament will run 5 total matches - 3 on day one and 2 on day two.

What to Bring
• Painted team with suitable models.
• Skill rings, coloured rubber bands, or another appropriate way to identify skills/positions
• Block dice
• D6s, d8, d16
• 3 copies of your team roster including skill purchases and inducements
Special Tournament Rules:
• Games will have a maximum length of 2 hours 15 minutes. If you are unable to finish within the given time frame, the referee may stop the game prematurely. A referee’s decision is final in all cases.
• LOCAL LEGENDS
Pick one of your rostered players without “Loner” to be your LOCAL LEGEND, assigning a free primary skill at the start the tournament – with no limits on elite skills. Each round, your LOCAL LEGEND will gain an additional skill after matchups are announced.
o At the beginning of round two, add a primary skill of your choice.
o At the beginning of round three, add a primary or secondary skill of your choice.
o At the beginning of round four, add a primary skill of your choice.
o At the beginning of round five, add a primary, secondary, or one of the following stat upgrades: +1PA, +1AV, +1 MA. If you are a stunty team, you can also pick from +AG or +ST.
This player cannot gain skills assigned through Roster Points.
Make sure that your LOCAL LEGEND is clearly marked on your printed roster. Bonus points for your team will be earned for any and all SPP that your LOCAL LEGEND earns. In addition, if any of your players inflicts a casualty (through a block or foul only) on someone else’s LEGEND, you earn an additional 5 bonus points for your team. This can only be earned once per match even if your opponent’s LOCAL LEGEND returns to the pitch through the use of an apothecary or the regeneration trait.
Example – Josh is playing Nurgle and labels one of his Bloaters as his legend. The Bloater is given “Block” to begin the tournament. Before game two, he is assigned “Guard”. In game three, he gets cheeky and decides to take advantage of the secondary, gaining the “Dodge” skill. In game four, having gained Block, Guard, and Dodge, he then gains “Tackle”. Finally, to finish the tournament in game five, he is worried about facing a deadly Ogre team and settles on “Iron Hard Skin” as a secondary to minimize the number of bonus points available to his opponent. Throughout the tournament, he personally scored 3 touchdowns, made a completed pass, and caused three casualties (one of which was a foul) to earn a total of 16 bonus points for his team.
• The standard kick-off table will be in effect, but if you roll “Brilliant Coaching”, the kicking team will also roll on the tournament-specific LIVING LEGENDS table. Each result will have an impact on your designated LOCAL LEGEND as they try to emulate the mighty HORATIO!
o LIVING LEGENDS (roll a d8)
 1 – CONFLICT OF INTEREST: Your LOCAL LEGEND gains a personal Bribe inducement that can only be used if they are sent off by the ref. If unused, this benefit is removed at the end of the drive.
 2 – MOTIVATING: Your LOCAL LEGEND gives an inspiring speech. One player in the K.O. box may be moved to the reserves.
 3 – A REAL PRO: Your LOCAL LEGEND gain’s Griff Oberwald’s trait, “Consummate Professional” until the end of this drive.
 4 – CLUTCH: Your LOCAL LEGEND earns double the number of earned bonus points until the end of the current drive.
 5 – MIRACULOUS RECOVERY: Your LOCAL LEGEND moves from your casualty box to your reserves. If they are not in the casualty box, you may choose an alternate player to move.
 6 – FLEXIBILITY: You must remove an added skill from your LOCAL LEGEND and add any other primary or secondary skill. The switch lasts for the rest of the game.
 7 – CHARISMATIC: You must remove an added skill from your LOCAL LEGEND and replace it with the “Hypnotic Gaze” trait. The switch is permanent. If your LEGEND already has Hypnotic Gaze, they may select a primary or secondary skill instead.
 8 – BLOODY BEAK: Your LOCAL LEGEND permanently adds the “Stab” trait. If your LEGEND already has Stab, they can choose a +MA, +AV, or +PA stat upgrade instead.
Rules Not In Effect
• The stalling rule that was introduced in the 2025 edition will not be enforced.
• Teams will resurrect at the end of each game. No SPPs, injuries or any roster changes carry over between games.
• Illegal Procedure and the 4-minute time limit will not be enforced.
• Teams with the ability to raise dead players will be allowed to, but they will not carry over to the next game.

Team Building
• All NAF sanctioned teams are eligible.
• Teams get 1.15 million gold to construct their roster. They can use this money to purchase players, rerolls, cheerleaders, assistant coaches, apothecaries, dedicated fans, star players, and available inducements (see below).
• Teams must purchase a minimum of 11 rostered players, one of whom must be designated as your LOCAL LEGEND.
• Roster Points
Each team will be given an allotment of EIGHT (8) Roster Points in order to improve the team’s capabilities. You can spend these points on skills, stars, special inducements and/or extra money. There are no tiers!
MONEY – You can spend 1 Roster Point in order to add 20K to your overall team budget. This can allow you to spend more than your original budget of 1.15 million gold.
SKILLS – You can spend roster points to add skills to your regular players but not to your LOCAL LEGEND or any star player. Each primary skill will cost 1 roster point. A secondary skill can be selected, but this will cost 2 points. You are limited to TWO elite skills beyond those assigned to your LOCAL LEGEND. Skill stacking is allowed for LINEMAN pieces only.
• STARS – You can induce up to two (2) star players or one (1) mega-star. Each star will cost 2 Roster Points in addition to their inducement cost. The Highlander Rule for stars (There Can Only Be One!) will be in effect!
INDUCEMENTS
o Teams may only purchase the following inducements at the standard cost without spending roster points:
 (0-1) Team Mascot
 (0-1) Weather Mage
 (0-2) Blitzer’s Best Kegs
 (0-3) Bribes [or (0-6) for Bribery and Corruption teams]
 (0-1) Halfling Master Chef
 (0-1) Riotous Rookies
o Certain inducements can be added to your roster for the standard gold cost plus an additional number of roster points, as followed:
 1 point – Plague Doctor (0-1), Morgue Assistant (0-1), Infamous Coaching Staff (0-1)
 3 points – Wizard (0-1)
Example: Josh wants to bring his Nurgle team and has 8 Roster Points to spend. He buys 4 Rotters, 2 Pestigors, 4 Bloaters, and a Rotspawn along with the Star Player, Withergrasp Doubledrool. With 2 reroll, this would normally cost 1170k gold, so he buys 20k of extra money with 1 Roster Point. He pays 2 Roster Points for the Star Player, and starts to add skills. He adds “Sure Hands” on one of his Pestigors and “Block” to the Rotspawn for a total of 3 Roster Points – two roster points for the single secondary skill and two for the two primary skills. Finally, with 2 star player points left, he spends them to stack “Quick Foul” and “Put the Boot In” on a Rotter because he is a Lineman. Keep in mind, nothing can be assigned to the LOCAL LEGEND described earlier.
ANYONE WHO SUBMITS THEIR ROSTER BY FEBRUARY 15th, 2026 BY 12:00pm (noon) WILL RECEIVE A FREE CHEERLEADER INDUCEMENT.
Tournament Scoring
Win = 60
Loss = 0
Tie = 25
Bonus points can be earned through the actions of your LOCAL LEGEND:
- Completion (1 Bonus Point)
- Casualty (2 Bonus Points; includes casualties caused by fouls and Arm Bar but not surfs, stabs, chainsaws, etc)
- Touchdowns (3 Bonus Points)
- If your LOCAL LEGEND has a casualty inflicted on them by a block or foul, your opponent receives 5 Bonus Points
In the case of a tie, tie breakers are in the following order:
- TD differential (TD scored - TD against)
- CAS difference (Cas inflicted - Cas received)
- Bonus Points earned throughout the tournament
