Cruise take 3 to 3.5 hours. Meet at Publix Harpeth Village at Fieldstone Farms in Franklin. (2020 Fieldstone Pkwy 37064). Meet at 7:30 am leave @ 7:45 am. Take Fieldstone Parkway across 31 to Cotton Lane. Turn left and take Cotton Lane south to Del Rio Pike. Turn right (west) and go to Old Hillsboro Rd (Hwy 46). Turn left.We will need a car to block traffic to stay together if possible.
Take Hwy 46 S through Leiper's Fork after which Hwy 46 will make a right turn (fire station) and it’s ½ mile to Natchez Trace Parkway entrance. Turn left into the entrance and go to the stop sign (Natchez Parkway Rd). Turn right (south) onto the Trace. We will stop at three places for bathroom and photos: Garrison Creek Park, John Gordon House and Collinwood Welcome Center which will have coffee, cookies and lots of memorabilia. From there it’s an hour to the Rattlesnake Saloon.
Get back on the Trace and at Hwy 72 turn left one exit ramp then right onto Hwy 72 W. Go to Mount Mills Rd and turn right (south). Take this road to the Rattlesnake Saloon. Parking is in a gravel lot and there is a waiting area for their truck “tram” to take us down into the restaurant. No alcohol until after 5 pm.

If you take Natchez Trace home there are several waterfalls and numerous historic sites along the parkway. We will visit a few of those on the Fall Color Tour!
