Crude Tuesday

Hi!

We are Crude Tuesday, an open performance platform and community gathering-space for dancing, movement, and experimentation. Phew, that was a mouthful.

We are both welcoming, and actively looking for, people who want to perform. You can do whatever you want – a work-in-progress, an improvisation, a solo, a duet. Anything, so long as movement is an aspect of it. The stage we take is small (9×22 feet), the theater is cute, you can eat chili and drink kombucha, and go bowling. It’s a fun background to witness each performer in their uniqueness.

The next dates are Tuesdays: May 30, June 20, and July 18.

We want this to be a supportive community-space: if you need help talking through your idea, finding rehearsal space, or anything else to help you get up onto that stage, please reach out to us! No need to be shy, we just really want to help you get onstage.

If you want to attend - we promise that we can almost never predict what kind of amazing wildness hits the stage, and we are almost always surprised. Please come witness live movement with us, and participate in a Q&A to immediately follow each artist's showing. We aim to grow with each other and learn about each artist's creation process as a community.

If you want to provide support, please do! Support can look like providing valuable resources to performers and aspiring performers; providing mentorship; spreading the word; and encouraging friends and fellow citizens to perform if they want to, whatever ‘performance’ means to them (it can mean many things).
