The Crown of Thorns Festival is an annual Christian music and worship event, held at Pioneer Park, one of the many beautiful city parks within the city of Billings, Montana. The festival is 100% a free/ everyone welcome event, and is sponsored by Project 22:9, a Christian Non-Profit organization.
The festival features some of the hottest and rising Christian bands (primarily rock gene) locally and nationally. Some past national lineups have included such names as: Whitecross, The Protest, Bayless, Relent, Zahna & Disciple just to name a few.
Headlining this year for 2023, Crown of Thorns proudly presents The Protest, with special guests, The Letter Black, 3 Days Under and Montana’s very own Absent Idols, as well as Billings hometown favorites, returning for a second year in a row, King Named King.
