Ah, crowd work. One of the great glories of stand up comedy that only some comedians feel comfortable with, and everyone could improve at.
In this workshop (which ends with one very fun show) your stand up / improviser teacher Toddy will teach you the skills you need to integrate crowd work into your set, the confidence to handle hecklers, and the practice of how to turn unexpected moments into comedy gold!
Please note:
- This class is for folks ages 18+
- This class has a pre-requisite of Stand Up 1
Venue Accessibility - The venue is accessible from the street level with no steps up – the main door has a significant lip, but the side door (which will be unlocked for classes) is level to the sidewalk. Click here for more info!
Show Day Information - Wondering when your shows are? 95% of BTC shows are on Wednesday nights at 7PM or 9PM. Your exact show schedule will be sent out the week of your first class!
Refunds & Cancellations – a 100% refund is available up to two weeks before your class begins. Within two weeks of the class start, registration is non-refundable.
