About this Event

Find a partner and come out for a fun day of testing your physical fitness under the August sun. The event will be held rain or shine on August 21st 2021.

Space is limited so get your tickets before they sell out!

Format:

Teams of two same sex athletes will compete in a series of events, shotgun style with a maximum duration of 51 minutes. Heats of 4 teams will run every hour on the hour. Full event and heat schedule will be released closer to the event date.

We're welcoming athletes of all levels following the 3 divisions established during the 2021 CrossFit Open. Teams should select the appropriate division for registration AFTER reviewing the movement standards list below. This list is not exhaustive but will include most movements and weights to be used.

To keep things fun and fair for everyone, please register for the division that most closely matches your capabilities. e.g. if you can do all the listed RX movements and weights except double unders DO NOT register for Scaled and go for the win. That's not fair nor fun for the rest of the competitors in that division. If only one person must complete a particular movement we've noted it below.

RX / Scaled / Foundations -- Athletes of all levels are welcome to compete or just come cheer on your friends! Guidelines for possible weights and movements across the divisions:

RX:

Deadlift - 225 / 155, Clean & Jerk - 135 / 95, Snatch / OHS - 95 / 65, Thruster - 135 / 95, Wall Ball - 20 / 14, Chin over Bar Pullups, Chest to Bar Pullups (*at least 1 treammate), Bar Muscle Ups (*at least 1 teammate), American Kettlebell Swings - 53 / 35, Kettlebell Snatch - 53 / 35, Dumbbell Hang Clean or Hang Snatch - 70 / 50, Toe 2 Bar, Burpees over an object, Farmer Carry 70 / 53, Double Unders, Echo Bike, Concept 2 Rower, Box Jumps - 30 / 24

Scaled:

Deadlift - 155 / 105, Clean & Jerk - 95 / 65, Snatch / OHS - 95 / 65, Thruster - 115 / 85, Wall Ball - 20 / 14, Chin over Bar Pullups, Chest to Bar Pullups (*at least 1 treammate), American Kettlebell Swings - 53 / 35, Kettlebell Snatch - 35 / 26, Dumbbell Hang Clean or Hang Snatch - 35 / 20, Hanging Leg Raises (straight leg - feet above hips), Burpees over an object, Farmer Carry 53 / 35, Single Unders, Echo Bike, Concept 2 Rower, Box Jumps - 24 / 20

Foundations:

Deadlift - 95 / 65, Power Clean & Jerk - 45 / 35, Thruster - 65 / 45, Med Ball Clean - 14 / 12, Ring Rows - heels in line with the RIG (*rings set with bottom of ring 36 inches from floor), Jumping Pull Ups - 6" above top of head (*at least 1 teammate), Russian Kettlebell Swings - 35 / 26, Dumbbell Hang Clean or Hang Snatch - 25 / 15, Ab Mat Situps (weighed or unweighted), Burpees, Jumping Jacks, Bear Crawls (* 5 ft increments), Farmer Carry 35 / 26, Single Unders, Echo Bike, Concept 2 Rower, Box Step Ups - 20 / 15


Event Info: 
  • Top teams in each division will be awarded prizes.
  • Every team must fill out a waiver. You can print one ahead of time and bring it to streamline your check-in here. 
  • Food and drinks will be available but will be CASH PAYMENT ONLY
  • Derek Myers of Kinect Rehab will be on site for any body maintenance needs.
  • LRX apparel will be present selling their top quality fitness apparel.
  • Parking is available in the bike path parking lot behind the building, and in the warehouse parking lot across the street.

  • 7:00am -- Scaled Athlete Briefing
  • 7:30am -12:45pm -- Scaled Heats + Awards
  • 12:45pm Foundations Athlete Briefing
  • 1:00pm - 2:15pm Foundations Athlete Heat + Awards
  • 2:15pm RX Athlete Briefing
  • 2:30pm - 6:45pm RX Athlete Heats + Awards

Schedule FAQ:

Q: Do I need to check-in by time XXX if I don't go until time YYY?  

Ideally all scaled athletes should be checked-in by 7:00am, all Foundations athletes should be checked-in by 12:45pm and all RX athletes should be checked-in by 2:15pm so that they can participate in the athlete briefings. These meetings are to make sure that everyone understands the standards so that there are no questions during the WODs.  We *highly* encourage you to be present for these meetings to minimize your chance of getting no-reps during the actual competition.  However if it's simply not possible for you to be here at those times you will still be allowed to compete as long as you are present before your heat starts.
