About this Event
The City of Columbia's Office of Business Opportunities will be hosting the next workshop in the Bridging the Generational Gap in the Workplace series titled Crossfit: Building and Managing Multi-Generational & Cross-Functioning Teams on Thursday, September 26th beginning at 10:00AM!
This informative workshop is for the purpose of highlighting the necessary strategies for ensuring that both multi-generational and cross-funtioning teams collaborate healthily in a variety of shared spaces - including the workplace.
During this workshop, participants will learn:
- The practice of establishing and respecting clear workplace boundaries that may vary from generation to generation.
- The reality that the presence of the younger generation in the workplace does not make the role of the older generation obsolete.
- The value of team members possessing the ability to agree, without becoming disagreeable; as well as strategies for conflict resolution.
This workshop will take place in person at the Busby Street Community Center, 1735 Busby Street, Columbia, SC. We will also have it via Zoom on the day of the workshop if you are not available to attend in person. For any questions, feel free to contact Kalenna Ginyard at (803)545-3950 or send an email to [email protected]! We look forward to seeing you on September 26th!
