Cross Timbers Nature Club is a monthly after-school program for young naturalists and outdoor enthusiasts. Kids ages 5-11 are invited to explore the trails at Bob Jones Nature Center and Preserve, learn about local wildlife, and discover how they can help care for the natural world, all while having fun and making new friends.
We meet once a month from 4:00–6:00 PM and feature a new nature theme each session with hands-on activities, guided hikes, and wildlife investigations.
Spring 2026 Dates & Themes:
• January 21 – Snakes
• February 18 – Bobcats
• March 25 – Deer
• April 15 – Earth Day
• May 13 – Bees
What to Expect:
• Outdoor exploration and guided hikes
• Interactive, age-appropriate learning

Registration Required
Spots are limited. Register online at experienceslk.com/nature-club. $15 for Southlake residents, $18 for non-residents.
