Cross Stitch 101 - Mini Frames w/Sophie Kanter

Curious about cross stitch? Ready to make something new? This is the perfect opportunity for you to learn how to cross stitch and have fun making a totally cute project. In this class, you will be stitching a small design of your choosing and putting it in a gold frame to display wherever you like. There will be multiple patterns provided, and easy instruction to get you started. Previous stitching experience not required.

Sophie Kanter is a textile artist living in Washington, DC. A native of the city, she is inspired by plants and everything nature has to offer, in addition to beautiful modern design. Her practice includes natural dyeing, embroidery, cross stitch, and much more! The best part of her art is sharing the process with others and seeing the unique creations of others. In addition to art, she also loves chocolate chip cookies and other people's dogs.
