Ladies & Gents, the Croon in the Afternoon Open Mic is BACK LIVE at the Lyric Hyperion on Mondays 5:00-7:00 for Happy Hour! We will probably have a rotating roster of piano players, but our first week we will have Rick Hils on piano, and your hosts will be Alicia de Soto & Ira Margolin -- sort of the Sonny & Cher for the Silverlake Set!
$8 cover and a 1 item minimum, plus 2 Microphone covers for 25 cents, paid to the host.
The Lyric is accepting cash again. There will be alcohol, hot tea & other beverages and snacks available at first. If we can bring in more people, they will start hosting a taco/burrito truck for us, but we really need to make it worth their while for them to do that, so please do what you can to bring in your friends.
As always, you can bring your own instrument or croon a cappella, but we will have a talented accompanist joining us on piano, so bring your sheet music, preferably in your key. Rick can help you find your key, but it's easier and faster if you already know it.
