Crocker Art Museum Bus Trip with monca

Calling all art museum lovers!

Monca is offering an exclusive bus trip to visit the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento for an exploration of the current exhibitions, Collidoscope, a De la Torre Brothers Retrospective and Marvin Lipofsky Blows Glass.

Collidoscope displays the bold works of Einar and Jamex de la Torre, the two siblings that comprise this artistic duo known as The de la Torre Brothers. The duo’s colorful mixed-media artworks explore themes of cultural identity and migrant life drawn from personal experiences.

Marvin Lipofsky Blows Glass features works by California-based glass artist Marvin Lipofsky. Featuring abstract pieces varying in scale, color, and technique, Lipofsky’s work showcases a unique breadth of glassblowing craftsmanship. His glass designs are a testament to experimentation, proving small changes in heat, timing, and motion transform the glass.

Join us on the bus from monca to the Crocker on Wednesday, April 23rd, for an exciting day of art and community!

Tickets include the chartered bus ride from Skypark Plaza in Chico to the Crocker Art Museum and admission into the Crocker. Participants are responsible for their own food and beverages, please plan according to your needs.

Meet at the Raley’s parking lot in Skypark Plaza (2485 Notre Dame Blvd, Chico, CA 95938) on Wednesday, April 23rd at 8AM for departure. The bus is expected to return to the same pickup spot at Raley’s at 5PM.
