Love crochet bags, but want to try a different material? This is a workshop for you.This Crochet workshop aims to provide you with a new experience in crocheting with bamboo paper. Create a crochet bag adorned with gentle waves that spiral through the bag from the base. This small yet practical bag is the ideal bag for small trips to the shops or outings with friends.
The class is suitable for crocheters with experience in basic stitches and working in the round. Building on from the basics, we'll work through the following stitches to make the bag:
- Magic Loop
- Treble crochet increases
- Treble crochet double and triple decreases
- Crochet i-cord.
We'll be working with Sasawashi Flat bamboo paper by Daruma. It has a raffia like appearance with a beautiful natural lustre that is unique to Japanese paper. The natural antibacterial, deodorant, and UV-blocking properties of kumazasa help keep the item clean. While the water-repellent dyeing process gives it a water-repellent and stain-resistant quality. Which can also be purchased separately online.
Knowledge required:
Adventurous beginner or more advanced crocheter who's looking to make along with the designer herself.

- 4.0mm crochet hook.
