Crochet Basics: Learn the single crochet stitch and essential beginner skills.____________________________________________________
Join us for our new Crochet Creations class, where beginners can learn the basics and returning students can continue building their skills through simple, practical projects.
Our Crochet Basics class is the starting point for all new crocheters. In this beginner-friendly session, students will learn how to hold the hook, create a chain, and work the single crochet stitch while making a simple bookmark project. This class is required before taking any of our project-based crochet workshops.
Once you've completed Crochet Basics, you’ll be ready to join our project classes where we apply those skills to fun and useful creations.
Upcoming Classes
April 19 – Dishcloth Project: Create a simple dishcloth while learning the double crochet stitch. (Prerequisite: Crochet Basics)
April 26 – Crochet Basics: Learn the single crochet stitch and essential beginner skills.
May 3 – Coaster Project: Learn how to increase stitches to create a circle and introduce simple patterns. (Prerequisite: Crochet Basics)
May 10 – Crochet Basics: Learn the single crochet stitch and essential beginner skills.
May 17 – Headband Project: Practice double and triple crochet stitches while creating a wearable accessory. (Prerequisite: Crochet Basics)
May 24 – Cactus Project: Learn increasing and decreasing stitches and how to close a circle to create a 3D shape. (Prerequisite: Crochet Basics)
May 31st – Crochet Basics: Learn the single crochet stitch and essential beginner skills.
Class sizes are limited to ensure plenty of individual guidance. Class will be begin on time but we suggest arriving 5 minutes early to check in and get the seat of your choice. All materials are provided. Crochet hooks will be available for purchase after class if you’d like to continue crocheting at home.
This class is for ages 10+.
Each ticket includes one complimentary beverage from our Cafe to enjoy during class.
