Join us at Iowa Made Market, in Historic Valley Junction, for another crochet class.In this class you will learn the basic foundation skills of crocheting in the round. This is when you crochet from the middle and work around to create a larger shape. Basic crochet skills are required. We will go over crochet terminology, various methods used, how to fasten off and weave in your ends. We will use these new skills to crochet a small project.
The class cost includes the materials needed to complete the project as well as pattern information that you can use to create more items. Please bring your Crochet Essentials Kit (from Crochet 1 : Basic Skills) to class as we will be using the items during class. Additional kits will be available for purchase during class for $15. The kits come with a carry pouch, 6 crochet hooks, yarn, needles, stitch markers, and scissors. The kits can be used in all of the crochet classes.
Once you have completed this class join us for Crochet 2 : Easy Project : Crochet a Pumpkin and our other crochet classes where we will use our skills to create projects.
