Crochet Basics - 3 weekly classes -February 21th, 28th and March 7th

Join us for an immersive 3-week Crochet Fundamentals Course designed for beginners and those looking to refresh their skills! This hands-on course will guide you through the basics of crochet, empowering you to create beautiful projects with confidence. Instructor: Maureen from Mama Cat Crafts

Week 1 // Feb 21st: Introduction to Crochet Basics

Learn about : Types of yarn, hook sizes, slip knot, chain stitch, single

crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, creating rows of stitches for future reference

Week 2 // Feb 28th: Reading crochet patterns, how to make a magic ring, front/ back loops, Increases/ decreases, slip stitch, fastening off rows.

Week 3 // Mar 7th: Familiarity with additional materials (sewing needle, stitch markers, safety eyes, poly- fill, etc…), color changes, fastening off projects, sewing pieces together, review of skills as needed. If time allows it, you will work on a simple small project.
