Crochet & Comedy: The Yarn Ball at Cafe Cleopatra

For one night only, Crochet & Comedy is taking over Café Cleopatra!
We’re bringing our signature crochet and comedy show to one of Montreal’s most iconic theatres for a special edition: The Yarn Ball!
This is one of Montreal’s most unique comedy shows and one of the most fun craft events in the city.
Here’s how it works. It’s a live stand-up show featuring some of Montreal’s funniest English comics, AND you’re actually encouraged to bring your crochet or knit project and craft during the show! Hosted by Shosho Abotouk, who will play yarn themed side quests with the crowd (participation optional) for chances to win yarn and prizes! They’re always a fun way to connect with everyone in the room!
If you’re an experienced crocheter, knitter, or crafter, bring your project and enjoy comedy with the club. If you don’t craft, come anyway for a super fun Saturday night out. We’ll also have a limited number of themed crochet kits available on site so you can start something new that night!
Because it’s The Yarn Ball, we’re also doing a Best Dressed in Handmade moment with a big prize at the end of the show! Wear or bring something you made that you’re proud of. We’ll do a quick showcase during the show and the room will choose the winner!
