This workshop is led by Shosho Abotouk, founder of the Montreal Crochet & Knit Club and one of Montreal’s most active community builders in the fiber arts space.

Shosho has taught hundreds of new crocheters through workshops, private lessons, and community events across the city. Her teaching style is warm, clear, and beginner-friendly, focused on creativity, confidence, and connection.

Her mission is to create beautiful spaces where people can learn new skills, slow down, and meet like-minded people through making.

The Montreal Crochet & Knit Club is one of the city’s most wholesome and vibrant creative communities.

We host beginner-friendly workshops, cozy social nights, movie nights, trivia nights, craft meetups, and our beloved Crochet & Comedy show. Our events bring together crocheters, knitters, crafters, and creative souls from all walks of life.

Three senior resident cats live in the home. They will not be in the workshop room, but they do live on the premises.

If you have a cat allergy or prefer a cat-free environment, we recommend joining one of our café workshops instead!!
