CRITIQUE GROUP: SESSION 1, February 20 - May 1, 2025

Isolation in the studio is a normal fact of life, and even a positive for most painter. All the same, we often ened fresh eyes or fresh thoughts on our work to best assess what we are doing and how it is going.

The time honored tradition of studio visits is a favorite privilege, and having a select group of one's peers over for lunch and to look at work can be one of the best parts of being a painter, both as a visitor and host. In that sprit, this class is intended to be just that -- a regular visit with a group of other serious and dedicated painters, intended for reflection and consideration on the work.

This class, live on zoom, meets every other Thursday morning for 6 sessions of 3 hours each. participating artists will have a digital forum that is accessible 24/7 top share their work and thoughts at their convenience, when we meet, each artist will have equal time to discuss the work they have posted and the dialogue they would llike to have around it, the feedback they are looking for.

Each class will be recorded, and oif you are unable to join, you can catch up with the recording, and we can review your work for the recording, so it's almost as good as being there!
