Alley Way Learning Skill Sharing Workshop
About this Event

Artificial Intelligence Basics

What you will learn
Many of us have a feeling that the mainstream media is not to be trusted, but we may not be sure what the problem exactly is or how to protect ourselves. This is a class in intellectual self-defence. We will look at some of the ways in which the media creates a false picture of the world, and we will also explore some of the ways we can resist, using tools developed by US linguist Noam Chomsky.

Meet your workshop leader:
Milan Rai is a local author who has published four books, including Chomsky’s Politics (Verso, 1995).
