Critical Mass is a form of direct action in which people meet at a set location and time and travel as a group through their neighborhoods on bikes. The idea is for people to group together to make it safe for each other to ride bicycles through their streets, based on the old adage: there's safety in numbers. With that being said, the level of gun violence and auto accidents are very high and this party is here to change that. You can have fun while riding a bike through Philadelphia streets and curb gun violence. Some people say that it is better to be rebellious with a bike more than a gun.
