? Critical Mass Austin strives to demonstrate support for the Austin Transportation Department’s focus on creating mobility infrastructure improvements by organizing monthly multi-modal celebrations. Our goal is to foster community and maintain awareness for people that ride bicycles and other alternative modes of transportation so that safety is increased for all.
? CMA RIDE & COMMUNITY NORMS:
* Respect yourself, each other, other road users, parks, waterways, and local organizations.
* Minors must be accompanied by their legal guardian.
* Let the leader lead and set the pace that allows us to stay together.
* Do not swerve into oncoming traffic, call out hazards, and do not litter while riding or at mid-stops.
* Call out “Stay to the right” to help us avoid collisions with oncoming traffic.
* Routes are 6-7 miles, tested in advance, have no expected gravel, and have a store stop in the middle.
* Report harassment to any organizer or ride leader.
