About this Event
Successful law enforcement leadership in the 21st century means being prepared to respond when things go wrong—either internally or in the community. This two-day training course, led by two experienced chiefs of police who've navigated a wide variety of crises, is designed to equip you with the essential skills to navigate law enforcement‘s unique challenges. This interactive course focuses on preventing, mitigating, and navigating the challenges that arise for law enforcement leaders. Blending theory, real-world case studies, and practical exercises ensures that everyone, from newly appointed leaders to those with years of experience, is well prepared to handle the challenges that lie ahead. About the instructors:
Jason Armstrong, currently a chief of police in North Carolina, was brought in to lead the Ferguson (MO) PD through a consent decree after a high-profile, controversial officer involved shooting. He is a highly sought-after presenter and media contributor, speaking across the country on leadership and navigating police reform.
Christopher Mannino, a retired chief of police from the Chicago area, is an FBI National Academy graduate and National Policing Institute Executive Fellow who led his agency through multiple crises and critical incidents. He is now Vice President of Julie Parker Communications and is internationally recognized as a crisis communications expert.

REGISTRATION TRANSFER POLICY
We understand that things come up for busy public safety professionals. Purchased tickets are transferable to another student or the registered person may apply the registration fee to another JPC course anywhere in the country within 24 months of the original scheduled course.
COURSE CANCELLATION POLICY
While it happens rarely, Julie Parker Communications might need to cancel a scheduled program. We strive to make this decision a minimum of fourteen days before the training date(s) and promptly inform all registered participants. In cases of course cancellations by JPC, the full registration fee will be reimbursed. However, it's important to note that JPC cannot be held accountable for any financial losses resulting from impacts on travel arrangements.
