NAMI Northern Lakes will be hosting a Crisis Intervention Partners Training September 12 and 13th at the Northwoods Center at Nicolet College. CIP is a FREE training aimed to improve responses to mental health crises. It covers topics such as human development, trauma impact, mental illnesses, crisis de-escalation, active listening, self-care, and auditory hallucination simulation. Through information and practice, CIP is re-training participants to use attitudes, beliefs, and verbal/nonverbal skills as part of their response to crisis situations.
