Crisis De-esclation

Engaging with individuals in crisis can involve a delicate technique while talking on the phone. These individuals may be experiencing a short term or long term crisis which can pose a series of challenges for the helper. Through this training, helpers will be guided through knowledge based best practices of crisis care, will be able to hear examples of crisis calls and finally will learn how to connect with local resources.
