District Attorney Dan Dow announced today that he will be hosting a victims' advocacy event on April 3rd at 11:00 am and is open to the public. The event will be held at the Katcho Achadjian Government Center in downtown San Luis Obispo.
Today, the Board of Supervisors proclaimed the month of April as “Crime Victims’ Rights Awareness Month in San Luis Obispo County.” And in anticipation of this year's upcoming National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) April 6 - 12, 2025, District Attorney Dan Dow is hosting a community event open to the public on Thursday, April 3rd at 11:00 am.
The event will be held in the Board of Supervisors Chambers at the Katcho Achadjian Government Center in downtown San Luis Obispo, with a reception immediately following.
This is a time to honor survivors and their loved ones, raise awareness of victims' rights and services, and stand with those whose lives have been impacted by crime.
