Crestview Christmas Parade. 12-04-21Ho! Ho! Ho! It sure feels like a great time for a Christmas Parade. The parade will be on Saturday, Dec 4, starting at 5:30 pm. Main Street Crestview will be hosting the parade and it is very well run and attended by local businesses and especially the public. Nothing draws a crowd more than Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. Last year we were given the honor of escort the guests of honor. Our Members have that honor again this year.
For planning purposes, I have two volunteers to carry the clubs banner.
I need two volunteers as poop scoopers.
I need one volunteer to handle the release forms. Please let me know if you can help.
I need one person to take pictures.
Sequence of events. I will be your point of contact at the City Hall parking lot along with Pat Rocha. Plan on arriving at the parking lot on Wilson St in time to be tacked up and ready for a safety briefing at 5:15 pm. and then moving to our staging area on Walnut St. Please keep in mind Main Street and other cross streets will be closed for the parade. You may want to consider approaching from S Main St/Ferdon Blvd or Lloyd St off Hwy 90 across from TSC.
Have a current coggins in your possession. Decorate yourself and horse for the occasion. Western wear is always appropriate.
The City of Crestview does a great job of barricading the streets to keep the spectators back and the parade route is very wide and safe. So come on out and ride, you will be glad you did! If you have any questions, please call Pat Rocha, 850-865-0458 or me 850-865-0398 Tom Moody
