Creatures from the Blakeburn Lagoons - Exhibit Opening

Join us at the PoCo Heritage Museum and Archives on October 2nd at 6:30pm for the opening of the latest Carol Hubbard Memorial Natural History exhibit: "Creatures from the Blakeburn Lagoons". We will be introducing the history of the lagoons, from the conversion of a once-abandoned sanitation facility to the popular bird and animal habitat that people now love to visit and walk, cycle, and enjoy nature. There will be light refreshemnts and a chance to check out the new display.

This exhibit features beautiful photographs and video from volunteer Bryan Ness as well as archival media of the lagoons from past to present. Join us to learn more about the creatures and the lagoons they now call home!
