About the Presenters
Sasha Wasley is a bestselling Western Australian author with a PhD in feminist literature, who loves nature, Jane Austen and puns. Sasha often waxes lyrical (bordering on belligerent) about the decline of school libraries. She mentors aspiring authors and has the joy of delivering frequent creative writing workshops for children and adults. She can’t seem to constrain herself to one genre, writing fantasy and young reader fiction under her Ash Harrier pen name, as well as historical and contemporary novels as Sasha Wasley. She has had over twenty books published since 2015 and her next book, The Society of Literary Marauders, will be out in April 2026.
Kaz Campbell Kaz is a writer, presenter and entrepreneur who loves to explore the magic of words in many forms. She has worked in a cinema, a circus tent, a skyscraper, in a cupboard under the stairs and in everyone’s favourite Monopoly square, Mayfair in London. Since 2010, she has been writing content and running workshops for some of WA’s biggest brands through her business, Branch Creative. Kaz is a published poet and primary school teacher who has performed poetry, and had her plays and works performed, at festivals and events including Perth Poetry Club, The Maj Monologues, Melville Midwinter, Busselton Fringe Festival and Short + Sweet Perth.
