Creatives in the Blank

Creatives in the Blank is for everyone who loves art and talking about art!

All artists and arts enthusiasts are welcome to join us for a gentle, chatty afternoon of process sharing and community building.
HERE’S THE PLAN FOR THE AFTERNOON…

STARTING AT 1:30PM, two of You Are Here's Cahoots program alumni will kick the afternoon off with an informal artist talk, inviting you to peep into their practice and the joys and challenges of being an artist. You will be able to ask questions, the talk will be loose and meandering, we'll go wherever the vibe takes us!

THEN FROM 3PM, YAH's producers, Ket and Nick will run free, quick, introductory Producer Sessions. These sessions are open to individual artists and/or collectives/collaborations from any artform, at any career stage. We offer free producing support year round, and this is an opportunity for us to introduce the concept to more people!

MEANWHILE, everyone who’s not in a Producer Session can hang out, chat, and eat some tasty food.

AND THEN, for anyone who is keen, we will head over to Ainslie Salon together to listen to some cool experimental music. You will receive a 20% discount code for Ainslie Salon tickets when you register for Creatives in the Blank! Doors open at 6:30pm.

You can join for the whole afternoon or just a portion of it. This event is free. Please register for catering purposes!

Blank is located on the ground floor and there are no steps on the way into the building/venue. An accessible bathroom is available on the first floor, via the elevator.
