My name is Birgit Itse, and I'm originally from Estonia. My native language - or mither tongue as they call it here in Aberdeen, is Estonian.I’m a published author, TEDx speaker, ghostwriter and spoken word poet.
I have created these writing sessions based on my own experience of living abroad.
These sessions aim to boost your confidence and create connections.
I hope these sessions help you reconnect with your innate creativity, and navigate your way through the different identity that comes when moving abroad.
The sessions will be in English but can do the writing exercises in any language you choose - in your native language.
No prior writing experience is needed, and there’s no obligation to share.
I won't be teaching you how to write poetry, or your life story. You don't need to be or become a writer.
Instead, you'll explore your own identity through words with creative exercises.
All your need is curiosity - the rest will be provided.
