We also want to establish right away that this is about unearthing and externalizing, not editing or making "perfect art." No one gets put on the spot, and you can control how much you want to share.

✍️ What to expect:
Writing prompts and instructions will be given by the instructor, who she will guide everyone to express their emotions through metaphors and third-person perspectives.
Warm up
**(Please arrive 15 minutes early)
There will be 3 MAIN prompts, all guided by the instructor, and reflection followed by discussions. You can control how much you want to share and no one will ebe coerced.
There will be networking afterwards for people to make real friendships and connections.

✍️ About the Instructor:
Sheena Petten—UCLA & UBC alumna, published poet, and literature professor. After years in the North American literary scene, she’s now in Ho Chi Minh City, bridging the gap between creative writing and mental wellness.
👤Who is this for?
Anyone who loves writing, dealing with heavy stuff, and wants a safe space for creative writing. NO WRITING Experience is needed and must be above 18 years old.
