This eight-week course is term time only, Tuesday 7pm - 9pm

Unleash your creativity and start writing with confidence with our 8-week course.
Whether you’ve been to one of our previous courses or this will be new to you, these sessions will be ideal to get you writing.
Each week, we’ll go through two or three tips with examples and practical activities to get you writing. Some of the topics are:
- Strong plots
- Memorable settings
- Finding the writing habit
- Sparking inspiration
- Beginnings, middles and ends
- Writing tight
- Keeping the reader reading
- No ghosts in this story
- Rewriting life

With expert tutor David Richardson
David has been teaching creative writing classes for over 20 years. During this time, he has worked at the coalface of writing as a copywriter in the motoring industry. He also volunteered for the Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators organization, regularly meeting authors and agents. This has given him an insider’s understanding of the publishing world.
