June Creative Table - Helix Arts’ host Kitty McKay welcomes Will Hughes.
As the series draws to a close, this session will look out from Newcastle's Cultural and Creative Zone to other towns and cities where exciting projects are happening.
Will Hughes will reflect on their experiences of working in Middlesbrough, setting up a cooperative wood workshop and being Tees Valley Artist of the Year.
We will ask the question: "how can artists in Newcastle learn from, grow and collaborate with other creatives and initiatives in the region and beyond?"
Canapes and refreshments from Lubber Kitchen will be provided.

Creative Tables are coming to town - literally. Join us at Lubber Kitchen for a twist on the dinner party.
Helix Arts are hosting evenings of conversion, to explore deeper challenges together or share and pitch exciting ideas over food and socialising.
The start of each event will be a relaxed mixer style, before our guests begin and a chance to Q & A and further support one another into the rest of the event. Each event has a special guest speaker/host along with our regular hosts Kitty McKay and Dan Goodman.
