Step inside one of South Salt Lake’s most dynamic creative spaces as the Creative Industry Tours series kicks off at the Visual Arts Institute (VAI), a cornerstone of arts education and creative entrepreneurship in our city.
This free event invites creatives, business professionals, Chamber members, and community members to experience VAI in action. Guests will enjoy live caricature art sessions led by Executive Director Bruce Robertson alongside instructor and Board Member Shelly Young, offering a playful and personal way to spotlight the talent cultivated at the school.
Bruce will share insights into VAI’s mission, programs, and impact, followed by a guided tour of the facility. With classes actively in session during the event, attendees will have the unique opportunity to see the school fully operational, witnessing creativity, instruction, and collaboration happening in real time.
The event will also include time for informal networking and conversation, creating space for attendees to connect across industries, exchange ideas, and build relationships within South Salt Lake’s growing creative economy.
