About this Event

Step into nature’s poetry with artist Ayesha Chouglay (@weirdbutinteresting) in this sensory writing workshop designed to spark creativity without pressure. Explore green spaces (whether a park or rural landscape) through multi-sensory exercises that devlop into nature-inspired poems. You will be provided with one of our Pocket Cahier books to write in. Using accessible, process-focused techniques, you’ll craft poetry that connects deeply with the world around you, all while removing the stress of perfection.

Part of EcoFest, a month-long programme at Moleskine Battersea Power Station dedicated to sustainable art and creativity, this workshop is ideal for writers, artists, and anyone looking to reconnect with nature through words. Bring a notebook, an open mind, and your love for language—you’ll leave with fresh inspiration and a renewed sense of wonder.

Accessibility Notes:

  • The venue, Battersea Power Station, is wheelchair accessible.
  • While the store itself is wheelchair accessible, the workshop tables are unfortunately not, so please let us know in advance if you require adjustments or alternative seating arrangements and we would be happy to accomodate.
  • BSL interpreters or hearing loops can be arranged upon request—please contact us at [[email protected]].
  • Large-print or audio descriptions of workshop materials are available.
