Creative Reuse: Crochet Soap Pouch

For our next Creative Reuse Class we will be making a Crochet Soap Pouch!

We will be using cotton yarn and ribbons to crochet a drawstring bag that can hold a standard bar soap and be used to exfoliate. Using bar soap helps reduce plastic waste and soap pouches help bar soap last longer. This project is perfect for beginners. Cotton yarn and crochet hooks will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own yarn and hooks as well.

This class is a part of our Creative Reuse series. Through Creative Reuse, we put materials that would have been thrown away to good use. Our goal is to save and use yarn and other craft supplies that would otherwise be thrown away and use them. Please bring any yarn or notions you would like to donate to the class. Donating craft supplies or cash helps us offer this class series for free.

• There is ample parking inside this entrance.
