Creative Retreat Folkestone

We will be collaborating with fellow Folkestone business, Yoke. Ollie will be providing nourishing food throughout the weekend and Jade will be guiding our yoga and relaxation sessions.

Itinerary

Friday 17th July- PM Guests Arrive, Free Time.

We encourage you to travel with guests from the retreat group and share a meal or a drink together on the Friday evening if you wish!

Saturday 18th July

7.30am -Sunny Sands Folkestone- Beach Yoga. (Subject to weather and tides)

Followed by breakfast on the beach provided by Yoke.

Take a walk with Heather exploring Folkestone’s outside space and Creative Quarter, arriving at Glassworks for our first Workshop Session.

10-12.30pm. Creative Studio Tour/ Introduction to Macrame.

Make a Macrame Plant Hanger using Recycled Cotton Cord.

1pm Lunch at Yoke followed by yoga and circle with Jade.

2.30-4.30pm Return to Glassworks for a ‘Sip & Knot’ session with Heather. Enjoy nibbles, Prosecco and conversation whilst making a start on a large-scale Macrame Piece/Wall Hanging using Recycled Cotton cord.

Free Time

7pm A delicious evening feast at Yoke. A private Supper Club session for our guests. Drinks can be purchased from the bar.

Sunday 19th July

9am Yoga at Yoke with Jade. Followed by Brunch at Yoke.

11am Glassworks, Macrame Wall Hanging Workshop with Heather. Explore the art of Macrame, perfecting a series of knots and make a tactile piece of art to hang on your wall.

1.30pm Explore the Harbour Goods Yard, purchase a drink or light lunch should you wish!

3-4pm Conclude the weekend with a relaxing, invigorating sauna, make use of the hot tub and cold plunge pools at sea scrub sauna, followed by a sea swim if you wish! Warm up by the fire.
