Creative Recess

Creative Recess is a monthly creative gathering inspired by Prioritizing Play by Rachael Renae facilitated by Hillary Seibel and Erin Hawkins.
Once a month, we'll gather at Tanglewood for conversation, connection, and a hands-on creative exploration designed to spark curiosity rather than perfection. Each session will be a little different, with a new idea to explore and something new to make.
Creative Recess isn't about becoming a better artist or walking away with a perfect finished product. It's about experimenting, trying something new, making something wonderfully unnecessary, and remembering that creativity can simply feel good.
You don't have to call yourself an artist to belong here. Just come curious and ready to play.
Each session includes:
• A little conversation and reflection around that month's idea
• A playful, hands-on creative exploration
• All the materials you'll need
• Plenty of room to experiment, make a mess, and see what happens
• A welcoming table of fellow curious humans
No artistic experience is necessary. You don't even have to consider yourself creative. Just bring an open mind and a willingness to experiment.

Spots are limited to 10 people to keep the group intimate and supportive.Pre-registration is required.
